Violette: The "Too Much" Dress

Dress (worn as a skirt) - H&M
Cardigan - H&M
Tights - ???
Shoes - Aldo
Necklace - Simons

Yes, second outfit post in a row! Inspired by my first success, I decided to try another "pushing the limits" outfit. This dress can be qualified for the "Too Much" Dress of the year. Too much pattern, too much ruffles, too much curves (you don't see it in the pictures) and too much back décolleté (you don't see it either). I would definitely not wear it as it is to work. I usually wear it with an open cardigan (you know, the ones that are long in the front, shorter at the back?) to camouflage the frills and the very womanly shape of the dress. But I don't like to be limited to only one outfit with an item... so I thought, no one would really be offensed by a ruffle skirt, no? By wearing a cardigan over it, it's warmer (it doesn't have sleeves) and it also de-emphazises the curves, making it appropriate for work in my opinion. And I felt happy all day because I had a pink ruffle skirt. (Who wouldn't?!)

P.S. One word about the cardigan: I love it! I found it on sale at H&M last year, its back is in a silk-imitation fabric. Very original and a little more dressed up, perfect for work.
