Am I obssessed with mixing textures or what? I think so. After my pajamas outfit, I decided to go with a more professional outfit, but still experiment on textures. This grey dress has a shine to it, I love the little ruffles on top and the bow of course. So I decided to match it with the complete opposite texture: a tweed-like jacket. Oh, did you see the purple polka dot lining? Can't believe I found this jacket at Forever 21! To make things more fun, I wore my candy earrings, as I like to call them. But it's a good thing they aren't made of candy, I wouldn't have any left by now haha!
Tip for winter gals: The dress is sleeveless. The jacket is cold (because of the lining). My tip for adding (much needed) warmth is to wear a short cardigan under the jacket. Keep the cardigan open and fold the front parts inside the jacket so that you don't see any part of the cardigan. In french we say: Ni vu, ni connu! (Something like: not seen, not known!) Et voilà!
