And what does it mean? It's Fashion Beauty Friend Friday (FBFF) time!
You can learn everything about FBFF on Modly Chic.
This week, the topic is fun because everyone, blogger or not, can relate: we talk about how we create our outfits.

1. How do you determine what you will wear that day?
Violette: It depends on different things! There's the obvious: temperature and activities of the day (work/casual/party, etc.). I start with that, then different factors contribute: my mood, what I want to project, and... what's still clean.
Rose: Get up in the morning. Whine. Eat. Whine some more. Apply make-up. Take a look at what's available. Realize I'm late. Put on the first two things that seem to match. Add some bling. And voilà.
2. Do you plan outfits out in advance for a whole week, month, weekend?
Violette: What?! A month in advance? Wow! Hum, I don't plan ahead except for special occasions or for travelling. On weekdays, sometimes I'll try to plan my outfit the night before (only to save time in the morning), but what I chose the night before doesn't always appeal to me next morning! Ha!
Rose: Er, no. I sometimes have an outfit in mind that I plan on wearing at some point, but I never really plan an exact moment. Most of the time I do I end up wearing something else anyway.
3. Do you have any specific way of tracking outfits and items already worn so you don't repeat?
Violette: Honestly? Laundry bag! haha! If something is still clean, I haven't worn it in a while! But I also keep a mental track of what I wore... and now with blogging it's obvious.
Rose: The smell? Not in a bad funky way, but if it smells my perfume, I know I've worn it recently. But I'm always in such a rush in the morning that I really don't care wearing the same thing twice in the same week. And no one at work would notice anyhow. The truth is, most people don't notice what we wear, it's just a feeling we have because WE know we wore the same thing.
4. How do you discover new combinations of items in your closet? (Trial try-ons? Hanging items together?)
Violette: Again, I'm becoming redundant... LAUNDRY! haha! For real, when a lot of your clothes are dirty, you're forced to be a creative with what's left. The best way for me to discover new combinations is to try-on and try-on and try-on... Something that looks good in your mind doesn't always look good on you! (That's sad.)
Rose: Like Violette, laundry. Sometimes you gotta deal with what you have even though you would've never thought about it.
5. To streamline the process for 2011 what is one new thing you can do to cut down your dressing time?
Violette: Good question! But it's difficult to answer. I think that my mood always has the last word on my outfit... so whatever I try, my mood can scrap the whole outfit I planned! So I guess I could try... mood stabilizers?! haha
Rose: I opt for mood stabilizers too. Oh and an alarm clock that lies on what time it really is so I can really take my time (because setting it in advance isn't really cheating, because well, you know you've got time left).
We would love to know your answers to these questions, whether you are a blogger or not!
