Rose 14x30: Double Pattern

Sweater - HM
Blouse - Old Navy
Skirt - RW&CO
Shoes - BCBG

Boy do I require an award for this outfit. While it might not look like much of an effort to you, it really required a lot of willpower not to belt this outfit - I wanted to try something new. Not only did I not belt the outfit, but I also wore mixed patterns for the first time in my life. Maybe I can qualify for a rule breaking Monday?

I always try to emphasize my natural waist in order to divert attention from my thick middle (also not so affectionately known as spare tire) and large chest, and I find it really hard to let go of that style habit, either for work or on the weekends. It took me a really long time to get used to open cardigans!

What's the lesson here, kids? Trust your friends advice (except when they talk you into getting a last shot at 3AM).

  4. I don't know what happens between the moment I take a picture and the moment I put them online because I swear I have a spare tire in real life. I'm not just a thin girl who complains about her weight - my complains are founded!

And thank you for the comments. I really like this outfit and I might just wear it again :)

  5. Rose, tu m'impressionnes encore et toujours!

Mélanger des pois et des lignes? Est-ce que j'oserais?! Aucune idée. Mais le résultat est vraiment beau! Bravo!
